I was so delighted and inspired by your post about why you moved back
to Australia. When taking your class in Hollywood a few years ago, I
did not know much about your history, nor about events that subsequently happened in your life. Reading about them was an eye
opener.

I am happy about all the wonderful things that have occurred in your
life the past few years. That includes your family and your farm. I
just wanted to tell you that I received so much from your classes, and
I wish I were in position to travel to Australia to study privately
with you.

Unless and until that happens, I will continue to value what you so
selflessly imparted to me, and I will always be in your debt.
Meanwhile, thank you and blessings to you and your family, and may
nothing but good happen in your lives. Sincerely…

Ronn Jerard

I’m grateful to you in all of the things that you have done for me. no words can truly magnify your dedication, your teachings, and all of the efforts that you have instilled in me in being a strong actor! after reading your story, I’m so thankful to God that He has nursed you back to full health and that you have a loving family and more importantly getting back to doing what you truly are passionate about doing…..teaching! I personally didn’t know that you had bowel cancer and I’m so glad that everything is alright now. I feel so blessed and fortunate to be one of your students from AIDA…I look forward to seeing you in May, mate!

Glad to hear about your Asian wife, she’s Chinese? Anyway I still work in the evenings here and have landed a few commercial jobs so the only time I could’ve gotten together with you would be during the day or on weekends. But I’m studying with a class on Sunday nights. I also worked on a sitcom with actor, Henry Winkler—“Children’s Hospital”.

Being the big Tony Robbins buff that I am Tony has always said “Success without fulfillment is failure”. I can see now that you are both successful as well as fulfilled. To me you are an OUTSTANDING acting coach and individual. With the modern technology of Skype and such as well as numerous other tools, nowadays you don’t necessarily have to live in a city like New York or Los Angeles to make it big in show business or work with those who make it big. Keep on rocking Paul!

You have crafted an impressive, informative blog that I hope leads people to understand the importance of proper on-camera training. Everything you taught me is the foundation upon which I can allow my artistic side stand firm on. Currently, I have a National (USA) commercial airing, and within those brief moments your personality and quality attributes have to shine through. That is what separates auditioners from bookers, and dreamers from professionals. I hope more people take the time to hone their craft, and seriously invest in what it takes to stand out (in a positive way) within their given profession.

There is nothing more valuable than a coach that has the knowledge to help you grow, and enjoys celebrating the journey with you.

A thousand thanks!
Karnell

I am a fellow blogger. Not only do I journal about my travels abroad but I also include video. It’s not until after I see the product that I see everything that needs to be improved aesthetically, matching all the points in your blog. I’ve worked on improving my voice, what I wear, where I look, etc and it has crossed over into my everyday life so that I’m aware of myself most of the time. And may I also add, as a model, all this piece of mind is critical! At any rate, there’s always so much to learn and be improved when it comes to presentation – on and off the camera.

I enjoyed reading your blog. It’s filled with great insight and information on what it means to be on-camera and why it’s such a unique medium . I haven’t taken an on-camera acting class in a while; this blog was a great refresher and reminder on why it’s SO important to be aware of all the little nuances that being on camera magnifies.

I especially enjoyed reading the part where you brought up the case studies as an example of how your body language on camera be misinterpreted. Nervousness can easily translate into something negative that has nothing do with your character or the image you are striving to portray.

Think of all the trouble that might have been saved if Linda Chamberlain had just taken on-camera acting classes with you!

Look forward to reading more,
Brunnella

P.S. I miss you!

Improving body awareness, vocabulary, and controlling nervousness are skills we can all use.

It also reminded me of the tools in my acting box that need to be taken out and cleaned every so often so they don’t get rusty. Your classes provided additional tools, and helped dust off the existing tricks of trade. Thank you for sharing your blog. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to absorb your class information. It has improved my skills and made me a better performer. More blogs!!!! :) Love, Mari
